ADEQUATE //

A few months ago I did a photoshoot with the amazing Lisa Miller and we did a few quick snaps for my blog. And here are the results, they turned out amazing and if you like what you see you should definitely check out her website. With that being said I have a few different looks and they’ll come out in a series with this being the first. 

This outfit is basically an expression of what I’d probably consider my go to look, because anytime I cant really think about putting an outfit that’s cool, unique or fashion forward together I end up with this, a basic white t-shirt, jeans, some type of cool jacket and a hat. Not saying it is a bad thing because its not it’s actually the easiest thing to put together and can sometimes be the best-looking outfit in a crowd. Since its not fighting for attention and just looks cleaner and more put together. Though don’t forget that this is your outfit so make sure you style it the way you want to. With this specific outfit I chose to add these amazing shoes from Zuriick just to add some more depth to the look.

LONDON MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS // DAY 4

Day 4 was the pinnacle of men’s fashion it gave us true masculine style from all angles whether it was classical men’s tailoring which is the quintessential business man that looks put together from day to night in his clean lines and suiting. To the rock and roll man who just oozes sex appeal on the stage making everyone want to sleep with him and take off those flashy accessorized jackets or lastly to the uber hyper masculine outdoor mans man who could kill a bear with his bare hands dressed in his leather and plaids and make everyone feel safer with them around. No matter what type of man you admire or enjoy looking at the collections from day 4 had exactly what everyone wants, a well-dressed man! and here are some of the stand outs:

LONDON MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS // DAY 3

Print’s, print’s and more print’s day 3 continued off where day 2 left off and gave us even more prints and graphic quality clothing. In an age where menswear can get monotonous and predictable day 3 took us somewhere we don’t really see very often which is the boarder line of crazy. Now I may personal not like the almost non wearable fashion statements that some designers will show it doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for them in fashion, if you can take just one piece from a crazy look and make it fashionable with an everyday ensemble than the designer has done their job. So I recommend that you take a look at the day 3 shows from London if that is your style. As for me I really enjoyed a lot of looks from day 3 to the sophisticated Alexander McQueen show to the graphic almost pop art coats from KTZ. I would also be kidding myself if I didn’t mention the mixed media’s that were going on between mixing prints and mixing textiles I found myself not being able to look away, I think it is one of the greatest things fashion has ever done because it always makes a look interesting even if the silhouette is simple. Though with all that being said hope you enjoy some of my favorite looks from LCM: day 3.

LONDON MENSWEAR COLLECTIONS // DAY 2

Continuing on with yesterday’s trend of subtle color palettes the LCM day 2 shows also showcased a few other trends that I am really enjoying. As a tall person you can sometimes not find clothes that fit in your shoulders while also fitting in the length department, so I’ve really been in love with the long length trend. I feel like it brings a fresh take to men’s silhouettes and is a functional take on fashion for taller men. Not only is that trend really noticeable on day 2 we were seeing a continuation of tartan prints whether it be in suits or coats or anywhere in between, tartan is an iconic look in British Fashion and is classic and can never go out of style.
